On-going Projects:
'America, Thanks for More Culture' (An Int'l Thanksgiving)
Description:
Held on the third Thursday of November, this holiday celebrates American culture that has been integrated, appropriated, or transformed into others' lives. The manner of celebration varies between locations.
'Alcatraz: Destination Prison'
Description: Proposal to turn Alcatraz Island into a maximum security prison for celebrities. Unlike most operating prisons, Alcatraz: Destination Prison would be a site of constant tourism. Visitors could visit their favorite bad-boys and girls in their natural habitat: making a film, recording an album, or penning their thoughts (all royalties of works produced on Alcatraz during a prisoner's stay would go to support the facility). Visitors could eat at the Alcatraz Cafe that serves seasonal organic fruits and vegetables harvested by inmates.
'Dump Cycle'
Description: Proposal to turn Livermore, CA into a national garbage site with it's own stop on the coming high-speed rail between L.A. and San Francisco. The dump would allocate material resources to develop its own fabrication plant, tourist center, and space launch site. Answering the next generations' concerns about waste removal, 'Dump Cycle' suggests the possibility of looking deep within space, rather than ourself.
'Web Nexus'
Description: Comparison of visual conventions of popular websites. 'Web Nexus' operates as a library of the multiple presences I maintain throughout my internet life. URL
'For $450,000 I Will Tell You 'I Love You' and Then Fake My Own Death'
Description: Self-explanatory performance.

sidewalk in San Francisco's Tenderloin.
'To Throw A Coin Into a Tar Pit and Make a Wish as If Throwing Into a Wishing Well'
Description: Self-explanatory peformance, La Braea Tar Pits, Los Angeles
